Comhar Chuigéal Teo serves the community socially and educationally by organising and administering courses and classes.

• The Comhar Chuigéal Teo Executive Committee consists of 11 members, five of which are on the committee since it was established in 1999, including the manager. • All areas served by Comhar Chuigéal Teo have representation on the committee. • The youth, those who keep the Spleodar Irish college students and the water scheme sub-committee are also represented. • Regular meetings are held by the committee, in addition to special meetings if required or in an emergency. • A General Meeting is held annually and at this meeting community members have an opportunity to join the Comhar Chuigéal Teo Executive committee. • As Comhar Chuigéal Teo works with and on behalf of the community, they are, therefore, in regular contact with the community. • Next year, we aim to have local teenage representation on the committee to ensure that the youth have an input and a voice in community development. - Upgrading of the Loch Hibirte water scheme (3 phases) - A Medical / Resource Centre as part of the Community Centre. - Expand and develop Cuigéal Cemetery. - Develop a cultural centre / develop Irish Colleges - Develop a heritage centre - Develop a cultural tourism project - Set up a Youth Club in the area
